Today is part of Fall Break at Michigan which means I don't work online but I did a shift in the undergraduate library this afternoon. Today I got back the first paper I wrote for my grant writing class and I got a solid A on it. The professor seemed to like my style of writing and my conclusion. This makes me more hopeful about the paper that I turned in today, which was interesting to write ( Read more... )

This weekend was nice, but today as I get back into the regular run of things, they go badly. My professor had changed when an assignment was due from next Monday to this past Sunday, but I wasn't sure. Walking to and from class today was exciting as apparently there are massive thunderstorms in the area and I didn't realize it until I was too far out my door. So I was rained on both ways and I'm still wet, but it was a good excuse to do my laundry and I have tea and soon will have toast.
